The Kresna Gorge, which is located in the Simitli and Kresna Municipalities, is toted as the place in Bulgaria for whitewater sporting such as rafting and kayaking. The gorge is roughly 10 kilometers

The rafting will take roughly 2 hours and it features some of the most scenic views in all of Bulgaria. It is also possible to camp in the gorge with or without a tourism company.
